The main aim of the course is to empower the students with the professional skills required for undertaking social work. The students are given an insight into subjects like human behaviour, interpersonal relationship, community development and organizational dynamics.

The students are trained to plan and execute an extensive range of social services and developmental activities, which qualify them to work in commercial and industrial establishments, training and research institutions.

M.S.W. ( MASTER IN SOCIAL WORK ) AFFILIATED TO MANGALORE UNIVERSITY AND RECOGNIZED BY GOVERNMENT.

Course Duration : 2 Years Full Time Programme (4 Semesters)

Eligibility : B.A. / B.Sc. / B.Com. / B.S.W./ B.B.M./ B.A. Law degree with minimum of 45% marks in aggregate. However, there will be a relaxation of 5% marks in the minimum in the case of SC/ST and deputed candidates who have served in an approved Government or Recognised non-Governmental organisation for a minimum period of five years.

Foreign nationals having equivalent qualifications are also eligible for admission.
