The Shree Devi Education Trust, founded by educationists having vast experience in the field of college education has established the Shree Devi College of Physiotherapy, with a view to train young men and women to enter into this noble profession and be of service to humanity. Physiotherapy is concerned with the field of rehabilitation medicine. There is an increasing demand for physiotherapy services these days in every hospital as medical and surgical procedures are to be supplemented with restorative therapy, in order to ensure the patient's complete return to health, mobility and employment. Hence today, there is great demand for professionally trained physiotherapists, specially with a degree from a university.
Shree Devi College of Physiotherapy offers a four year Bachelor's Degree programme in physiotherapy (B.P.T. ) and a 2years Master Degree in physiotherapy which is affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore. The Bachelor's Degree is awarded to successful candidates as per the university rules and regulations. The college is also recognised by the Indian Association of Physiotherapists (IAP ).
