The far sighted initiative of the Management Council of Women’s National Education Society, Mangalore, took concrete form in Manel Srinivas Nayak Memorial Besant Institute of Post-graduate Studies, Besant Vidya Kendra, Bondel. The Institute aspires to become a leading center for professional management education, research, training and consultancy services in this part of the country. In specific, the broad objectives of the Institute are :

To offer a full-time two year Post- Graduate programme in Management (MBA)

To offer short duration Executive Development programmes, seminars and workshops to the practicing Executives

To offer Consultancy services to industrial and commercial sectors

To offer part-time Diploma programmes in Management

To associate and co-ordinate with other reputed institutions and Universities in India & abroad to offer management and related professional programmes.

The Institute has a fully integrated campus with residential facilities and services for essential staff and for the outstation students. The Institution is guided by a Governing Council of eminent persons drawn from industry, business, academics and community services.

Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, and the Government of Karnataka, Bangalore and is affiliated to Mangalore University.
